03/30/2010 ~ Vinitaly

Close your eyes and imagine a place where silence is still valued, where colours can still provoke emotions, where history still speaks of the future and a label still matches a face…..this is the umbria of the agricola faena, an agricultural holding already well known as a leading innovator in olive growing.

Agricola faena will be present at vinitaly from 8 to 12 april at the tuscany pavilion n.8, stand b14.

Angelica Faina and Antonello Ciurnelli wish to invite you to discover the reality that is theirs: 400 hectares of natural oasis, where vineyards find space only on the finest land and wines rest along the cellar walls of the castle of collelungo, an architectural structure of extraordinary value and charm, built into the rock face which still bears the signs of the ancient italian tradition of winemaking. The founder zefferino faina was indeed among the first to introduce experimentation to the Vineyards and cellars of umbria. Today that ancient wisdom is complemented by modern techniques, employed skillfully under the guidance of the friuli-born oenologist, michele bean.

At vinitaly Agricola faena will be offering a preview of the characteristics of the largely undiscovered territory of todi and its wines.
We look forward to seeing you there
