Situated at the green heart of the Mid Tiber Valley, near the town of Todi, the Farmstay Tenuta Conti Faina, originally an 11th Century Benedictine Abbey, is the result of scrupulous restoration work by its owners, the Counts Sebastiano and Alessandro Faina di Civitella dè Conti, who have taken care to maintain the fascination of the exterior and the characteristic features of the interiors.

The group of buildings, which have been the property of the Faina family since 1884, when they were bought at an auction for a mere 24,500 lire, has always played the central role in the family’s farming business, and is surrounded by a specialised olive grove.

Inside the property, positioned favourably with a wonderful view over the surrounding Umbrian countryside, there are four spacious apartments, each with its own private entrance and each furnished in a style tastefully combining antique and modern, with all the comforts necessary to ensure a pleasant stay. One of the apartments is also accessible for disabled guests.

The presence of the working farm in close contact with the agritourism provides an interesting opportunity for observing the activities of the business, including the main stages of production and transformation of the olives, the grape and walnut harvesting, and the possibility to taste the typical products made on site.
